Guest guest
Hello Ravin, It was nice to hear that ur Konkani wife had good company...during the reunion...Aur us bheed mein bhi...the Konkani group.... decided to chat till eternity.. I don't blame her for doing that... Seema often tells me.... " Pata nahi Shyam...How u ended marrying a Punjabi...??!!.....seeing my undying love for a(ny) Konkani... Actually, strictly speaking,we,Konkanis of Karnataka... represent such a close linked minority Indian community, much like the Parsis...that in a 15 mins chat.......no matter who that Konkani person maybe...will soon be discovered ,as one of our long lost relative...just a kilometre less in terms of relation.... than the Light Years... So,our love for brotherly Konkani is always there for all to see... Much so that...I USED all my influence...to secure a flat ...in our building.... jumping the queue.... for a Konkani family.... who r so indebted to me...that each day...I get served ....Hot piping Konkani dishes from their kitchen here in Riyadh....and we hold,..... a Grand, once every 3 months, Konkani Party...at their place ....with some 10-15 " Kattar " Konkani families..some driving 400kms even....come for a 24 hr dusk to dawn meet But where my dear Biwi .....feels very much left out... Bye. Shyam(84)
