Guest guest
This article was excellent. I wanted it to go on longer! One thing that dismayed me, though... at the end she spoke about people with CFS sleeping late vs. people with depression waking early. I have disordered sleep and so I wake up multiple times a night, and I end up being awake and unable to return to sleep between 5 and 7 a.m. after having gone to sleep at midnight or 1:00. I work 2nd shift (modified noon - 9 pm) and so I would LIKE TO sleep until 8 or 9 a.m., but I can't... After reading this, I'm now wondering if I am suffering from depression and not CFS or FM. I get exhausted just about the time I should be going to work. Now I'm wondering if this is all psychosomatic!! Confusing! Guest guest
I don't know K2, I don't think there are a lot of " black vs white " when discussing ANY element of CFS........we are all so different, I don't think I'd let my waking time be a determinant factor. Check it out with your doc for confirmation. Just my 2 cents! Thanks, STL Jane K2 wrote: This article was excellent. I wanted it to go on longer! Guest guest
Thanks. I have SO MANY other symptoms, it just can't be depression " alone " ... I am also a very happy person, so I just am in denial that I could have depression. Maybe I don't understand what depression IS. I have had at least 4 doctors say that I have depression and not CFS or FM. I dumped all of them lol! I just think I have way too many other symptoms, and really bad pain and fatigue, that it just has to be FM or CFS, but I can't get a diagnosis. I'm off to get my blood tests re-taken -- the most recent doctor, the one who believes me! LOST my blood!!! Grrrr.
