I enjoy Scraffenberger and Green & Black's Organic 70% dark chocolate.

Welcome to the addiction!

Valrhona is my favorite. Complex and very dark. Green and Black's is good,

too. Lindt Excellence 85% is another good one.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! I got some nibs in the mail today and I

am waiting to try them after work. I am sure they will be intense. Maybe I'll

toss them into some kefir.

Mine too. It's the champ among non- and semi-specialty brands. Not

organic or fair trade, though.

I like Terra Nostra from Trader Joe's and it's quite a

bit cheaper than many of the others mentioned here

(which I also love).

Do any of you know why Nourishing Tradition takes such

an anti-chocolate stance?

I was wondering there were any recommendations from the group

regarding good sources. I like around 75 percent cocoa.

My husband LOVES the 74% from Dagoba.

I am not sure; if I had to guess I would say it was because of the caffeine and

adrenals connection. Also, regular chocolate candies are full of sugars, ect.

which are not NT friendly.
