Pain - AND reverse therapy

, I'm near Raleigh, NC and I've been feeling the barometric

pressures for several days now. Usually I'm fine with it finally

starts raining (usual storm) but before it does I'm pretty

miserable. My back was broken in 1966 and for years afterward I

could actually tell if it was going to rain, sleet or snow in

winter.

I was told by my physician to " Read the Book " - one that Dr. Eaton

wrote about back pain. I was there for a physical and have rotator

cuff problems on the side where I had breast cancer and many

surgeries. I was first told " I have to give you a doctor's name

and you need to buy this book. It's for back pain " . Well, first of

all, I have NO back pain. She gets on a tangent and thinks all

this will heal you - totally. She's opened a gym in the back of

her office and wants all her patients to exercise regularly - and

pay her of course to do it. I am a member of the YMCA - so I can

swim 5-10 minutes or walk in the water and use the steam room to

detox - so I wasn't pushed to do that.

I use self-hypnosis, and mind/body control. But I do not expect it

to heal me, or stop all pain - like my doctor does. I have looked

on Dr. Eaton's web site, and think (personally) that he is going to

make a lot of money (DVD is $89) on people trying to " get well " .

Just my opinion, but since I've used mind/body for over 20 years -

and still use a wheelchair at times, I think it will help get

through bad times - that's all. Marty
