Could be a fungal infection. Been exposed to any black mold (or other

color) lately?

Blowing real hard can force infectious material back up into the depths

of your sinuses...so it's better to avoid blowing real hard if you can.

Some people like a neti pot, but I ended up with a burst eardrum the

first time I tried that. I'm sure I did it wrong!

There is a nasal spray available now made from olive leaf extract. I

think the brand is Seagate. It's antifungal.

A couple of weekends ago, I spent several hours in a wooded area with a

creek. I figure it was leaf mold that got me. I had a sinus infection

for a couple of days. If I money weren't so tight, I would have tried

the Seagate spray.

Instead, I upped the cod liver oil dosage and ate chicken soup and

spicy food that induced free drainage. Gargled with salt water for the

sore throat. Had some Throat Coat tea. Used lots of tissues to catch

the nasal drips. I did take a dose of children's

antihistamine/decongestant a couple of times and a painkiller to get to

sleep.

had one before. Sinus is plugged up and have to blow stuff out except

after eating meals and drinking kombucha. Now I know docs would say

it's bacterial but I'm wondering if this can be some sort of detox

reaction going on? Been eating NT way now for almost 6 months.

Thanks for ideas. It did clear after I consumed more chicken broth, CLO and

kombucha. I think I had a bad batch of fermented ginger(mold).I seem to be

having some trouble recently making any feremented veggies.Quite frustrating!
