Guest guest
Cin: I do not know if it was this list as I am rather new here, but I get RL too. I do seveal things, it does not cure, but does make it go away at the time so I can sleep the rest of the night. First I take Vit C 2,000 mg a day, and 800 IU of E. Next when it flares up, I get up and do exercises. Stretching, leg thrusts, side leg lifts, anything to get the currulation going. We also go a matress topper (one of the ones that holds your hand print) and that has made a world of difference. I have gone from having it 3 to 4 times a week (before the topper) to 2x in the last 5 months. I hope this helps some, we can talk more off list if you'd like. glo ----- Original Message ----- > > > Hi, > > Approximately 6 months ago, on one of the lists I am on people > were discussing restless leg syndrome and what they did to cure it. > > > > > >
Guest guest
, I believe that can be a side effect from menopause or hormone issues. > > Hi, > > Approximately 6 months ago, on one of the lists I am on people > were discussing restless leg syndrome and what they did to cure it. > I think this was the list but I may be wrong. Guest guest
No, it wasn't this group that previously discussed restless leg. I just searched the entire archives. Darrell
Guest guest
Thanks Dedy, I will get my iron level checked out. I have already started on a magnesium supplement and also a calcium supplement. Cin, > > Very often RLS is a sign of iron deficiency... get your level [incl. serum > ferritin] checked... I had it off and on until I quit gluten. Haven't had it in about a year. Katy
