Can a beaten egg be frozen?

Or perhaps more to the point, can raw kofta, which includes a couple beaten

eggs mixed in with a couple pounds of meat, be frozen and then successfully

thawed and cooked, or would freezing destroy the texture (and nutritional

value) of the eggs?
