I don't think an advanced communist society can actually exist -- I think it's fundamentally incompatible with human nature. But yeah, that's pretty far afield, topic-wise. <g> Various forms and degrees of socialism could support large-scale or universal raw milk production and consumption, though, and peak oil may well support a burgeoning of raw dairy because the economies of scale behind pasteurization and ultra-pasteurization will become less economical as transportation becomes more expensive.
