Guest guest
Resending this message as the earlier one was put under a different thread. I was trying out wellbutrin to see if it helps with the PSSD a few days ago. I started with 25mg for 4/5 days and one day I upped it to 50mg. The next morning I woke up with a very numb penis and when I tried to masturbate, I had no arousal and so it took a long time to climax. Soon after the orgasm, I had shooting pain in my penis for a few seconds and then the pain subsided. Its been 20 days nearly and now I have trouble having orgasm and orgasm doesn't give much pleasure. I have had issues with numbness and ED, but never had trouble orgasming. Now part of my penis feels more numb than it used to be even during PSSD. I'm afraid either the wellbutrin or the vigorous masturbation resulted in penile nerve damage. I never felt this hopeless. If its the wellbutrin that caused this, I probably see hope. But if its the physical damage to the nerve from masturbating, then its permanent?? How do I know the extent of the damage and why I'm not able to have orgasm or why its very difficult to orgasm?
Guest guest
hey there. it's doubtful that vigorous activity would cause nerve damage. the idea that masturbation could cause nerve damage is highly unlikely. the simple argument is, have you ever heard of a porn star getting nerve damage from all their highly physical sex? no, you haven't. so if a professional who spends all their time banging away doesn't incur damage, I doubt even the most enthusiastic masturbator could really damage their equipment. also, please keep in mind with all these discussions about nerve damage, that peripheral nerves regrow. It is the central nerves that do not. nerves in the spine and brain do not regrow. Nerves outside of that region do regenerate. so even if the nerve damage argument were true, it would not be permanent. keep hope alive friends... > > Resending this message as the earlier one was put under a different thread. > > I was trying out wellbutrin to see if it helps with the PSSD a few days ago. Guest guest
Thanks a lot for the reassurance. Probably its again one of these mind altering drugs thats causing this numbness & anorgasmia (even though wellbutrin was supposed to help the very problem, its possible it likely worsened it through some mechanism). I did read that peripheral nerves do regrow and it takes some time for that to happen. Probably a few months or so. Yes trying to keep the hope alive. Thats all we got!!Subject: Re: Wellbutrin - damage?
