Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Thank you so much for all your positive responses about having a convention.. As I said before, I am the State Rep for California for the Foundation of Children with Microcephaly and we just had our 1st Annual Convention in Arizona. It was wonderful. You all had mentioned having certain doctors at ours, if we have one, and most of those doctors mentioned were at the Micro Convention. We had Dr. Dobyns, Dr. Chang, Dr. Mochida, Dr. Ross just to name a few. I do have a few more questions though. . .are most of your children diagnosed with Micro or just PMG? What other disorders do your children have? Would it be beneficial to just have a conference for PMG or would it be beneficial to include all the others with Micro etc? We had about 60 famililes come to the Micro one and I am just wondering if we should still go ahead with that one again and include all of you as well? Or would it be to broad of a spectrum to cover? Maybe we could have different days that go over different things such as neuronal migration disorders and then other days maybe certain types of Micro or CP? That way parents can choose what " clinic " they would like to attend and they dont have to sit though something that doesnt necessarily relate to them or thier child. Please let me know what your thoughts are about this as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your response. Robin
