Guest guest
Comment from user: I have a 4 yr old daughter with polymicrogyria. I am very blessed that she is only weak on her left side. (Arm & Leg), When did she start to talk and how are cognitive skills? My granddaughter also is weaker on her right side Hi . Happy New Year! My daughter started to talk at 8 months old and she started to walk around 15 months old. She never crawled. She is smart for her age group, but her dextarity is slower than other children. She is going to physical therapy. It seems to be helping. My daughter does everything that a 4 year does. The only thing she doesn't do is ride a bike. But I'm not worried about that. She also has Epilepsy. She is on seizure drugs and has about 20-30 sez. a day. I thought she was ignoring me but, the Neuro said that they were sez. She is going for another MRI on Jan. 5th. Well, I hope this has helped you . Take care, beth
