May have some good news for all of us

Sorry to all the members for not posting in so long but if you knew my schedule

you would understand.

First I would like to tell everyone that I started seeing Dr. Goldstein in San

Diego in late October. Due to my 17 years of problems from PSSD i of course had

below average testosterone. He gave me an operation and inserted Testosterone

pellets in me that gave me a 6 month dose. In addition he started me on

Cabergoline 0.5 2x a week. I felt no difference for the first 4 weeks. Then

suddenly I started to experience good old fashioned lust. I started getting

fantasies and a desire for sex. This has been increasing slowly although better

on some days than others. I even got an erection by thought alone.

I returned to see the Dr. on 1-22-10 and he is increasing the cabergoline and

adding a second dopamine agonist. In addition he told me there is going to be a

new drug due out in September to treat our condition. I don't recall the name

but it is a serotonin antagonist that is geared to treat our problem. Keep your

fingers crossed folks, this might be what we have been waiting for. I will try

to keep everyone updated on my situation and I still haven't forgotten to list

my good and bad doctor list. If anyone wants more information about my history

and treatment let me know.
