Guest guest
Well - I have not tried the other two, so unfortunately I am not much help there, BUT we are using the Green Pastures Coconut Oil, having called WP in Washington, and they said it is definitely recommended - so at least we know it is " up to snuff. " I like the taste, but sorry I can't comment on it comparatively. Guest guest
Thanks. Does it taste like coconut? If so, would you say it's a mild taste or fairly strong. Personally, I like the strong, fruitier tasting kind. I realize this may be hard to rate, but just wondering. I'll probably get it either way. Guest guest
Dear Adrienne, Sorry for not replying sooner - here goes:) Yes, it does taste coconutty to me. I have made the taking thereof into a dessert time - some rice or millet or buckwheat, or whatever grain I have cooked to NT standards, then 1/2 tsp. X factor, a large scoop of solidified Green Pastures coconut oi, and enough powdered stevia to make it yummy. When it all melts, it is fabulous - to me. I wish I could make sorbet from it! Hope this helps:) Lynne ________________ On Oct 25, 2005, at 1:02 PM, ahewcn wrote: > Thanks. Does it taste like coconut? Guest guest
Yes, it does. In the meantime, I got a response from them as well. They say that the intensity of flavor may vary and that their supplier says it's because the coconuts have stronger flavor different times of year. I'd presume that after a rainy season the flavor would be less coconutty than during the more temperate seasons of the year. Thanks for your help.
