An mini MGIMS gettogether in Riyadh...

Hello everybody,

Last Friday,the 8thDec,we all went over,....... to Dr.Pramod and Jain's

house for a grand lunch...

It was made more special by the arrival of Gopadi,once again,back to

Riyadh,forever...after 5 years long stay in Bglore...

As Rajesh Rai(89)and family were touring Egypt....for 2 weeks,their absence was

felt by us all.

The food prepared by Mandabai,and supervised by ,was just great....with

yummy Kachoris,a novel dish,out here,which had everyone asking for more...

The couple's 2 loving and smart kids,entertained us with their school

songs,their work of art and displaying their huge collection of toys...

Over the lunch,we drifted thru the MGIMS campus from ' 76,till the late early

2000, as each of us had a new incident to narrate of their times...

Dr.Kiran,was very pleased to note some very lovely contributions from his 76

batch ,on our college website...and was full of praise for the new Shayar of

their batch,Tarvinder...something,both he and Gopadi admitted,they never

imagined,many years ago...

Tarvinderji,some of your wonderful poems have been stored in our computers to be

re-read many times...

As news of a new MGIMS couple coming to Saudi Arabia,seems to be in the air,we

pray and hope they get a posting in or near to Riyadh...
