Guest guest
Hi all, A quick introduction as we're new to the list. We're & Carey and have been embracing Paleo and NT WOE for the last few years. Carey has Chronic Progressive MS (dx'd 30 years) - a good but not prime reason for pursuing a more healthy way of eating. I have occasionally experienced mild eczema on hands (particularly when touching particular foods) and very occasionally elsewhere. Recently I have been experienced much more significant skin problems that I am becoming increasingly concerned about. It appears from my research to be hives. That is, there are large and small bumps or welts occurring randomly throughout the body. Though it tends to work on certain areas at one time. At the moment it is affecting the right forearm and calfs of both legs. Our diet for the last 2 months has been entirely paleo, i.e., no grains, dairy or legumes. All our protein is pastured beef, pork and chicken and plenty of wild salmon, supplemented with lots of organic veggies and fruit, nuts and seeds. Theories I'm working on is that I may be paying the price for too much alcohol in earlier times or binging on fruit lately (which I've cut out for now) or I'm just eliminating toxins as my diet improves. Any thoughts or suggestions? Cheers & Carey Waymark
