Vitamin D and genital anesthesia

I previously reported improvement in genital anesthesia that I thought was

attributable to micro doses of melatonin. However I had also been taking vitamin

D (400 mg) for several months. My improvement has fluctuated only a little over

a month or so. Mostly I seem to be slowly regaining even more sensitivity, and

orgasm has improved markedly. I am amazed at this change given my 15 years of

genital anesthesia. I cycled off melatonin (which I was taking for sleep)and

have continued vitamin D. I now believe that it is vitamin D that is responsible

for my improvement. I have been educating myself about vitamin D and learned

that it is actually a hormone and is involved in nitric oxide production

(necessary for genital engorgement).
