Guest guest
As I was finishing off the brewing process of my peach and tangerine kefir water the other day I was trying to decide how to handle my new water kefir grains. I had about 3 gallons of various ferments in the fridge and since I'm the only one drinking them I had no need to brew any more for a while. I hit upon the idea of storing the grains in milk rather than water and letting them refresh that way. They are now sitting in a tupperware container slightly covered in raw cow's milk until I need them again to brew some more juice drink. So is there any reason why this will not work?
