Guest guest
A collage for the background of the stage when we are felicitating teachers might be a better idea. This is because - during the cultural, it is anyway too dark to see anything on the stage. Teachers are felicitated in the auditorium and it is brightly lit. This could be in addition to a slide show - but when would the slide show be ? Prabha ' 84 Ashok Bhaskar wrote: Is it too much to ask for a slide show? Guest guest
Prabha, Once again Poonam (and Sharmila Kanthale, as well) are the best people to ask, since they did something similar for our reunion (you were there so you know what I'm talking about). We did not have a collage and I agree it wouldn't work with the stage for the evening programme but I think you would be pushing it for the felicitation as well since there will be a large banner already announcing the occasion. I think the slide show is now pretty much standard. Part of it involves going through college records and getting hold of your batchmates' photographs when they entered MGIMS (to compare with current physical state...you know, less on top, more round the middle etc.). I am not sure who has the responsibility for the research. We had it all on CD and I go back to it once in a while when I need a laugh!! Guest guest
Yes Nadu, the slide show is pretty standard now, but is always a guaranteed hit. ( I am a veteran of 3 reunions already - so I know). Renuka, you have a big task cut out for you. Just inform Viju, will you ?She ought to get a copy of all our exchanges as well.
