Guest guest
Preabhat, I am not sure what to expect... Even when I was in Sewagram I never felt the lack of much.. perhaps I did not know better or want different stuff. I was quite content. When I went back I was so pleased to see the changes and a lot were progressive. What was even more a unique commodity that I have not experienced anywhere else is the overwhelming sense of love and a 'at home' feel that is hard to describe. It puts into shadow all the rest. I do not know if I am making sense but even today when I look back- a year on I still find myself smiling at the memories... My kids had not met anyone before but they took to the place like ducks to water. Kids who cannot survive a day without X-box etc thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They seemed to know all the 'aunties' and 'uncles' as they had heard so much about them....It was great seeing the second generation mingling...felt like coming home. However, be grateful that some things of Sevagram have not changed, like the love and affection of the staff and students and the no donation policy, as also the nearly guaranteed PG chances.
