HI

Has anyone tried or looked into the whey protein

Mercola sells. I know it is processed, but for what

it is, is it a higher quality product than others?

It's sweetened with xylitol. It also has ground flax. Bad news.

I buy the vanilla flavored that is supposed to be unsweetened. I like

to get it because I don't have a raw milk source. I have been wondering

if it is a good idea or not too. Is there another brand that might be

better?

Thanks,

Judy

The vanilla flavor is xylitol-free? That's good, but I'd imagine it still

has flax, right?

I'm not sure what the best whey protein is, but the best protein

concentrate I know of is Goatein, and whey protein isolates may not be a

good idea even if they're perfectly intact, because they are absorbed and

metabolized so quickly. The LEF makes a big deal of keeping theirs

maximally intact, though, so that might be a good bet if you want a whey

product.
