Guest guest
I have been sending out the Dr Stuart Shipko's video to all sorts of professional over the last few weeks but I have had few replies. Anyhow, Breggin has got interested and his wife Ginger Breggin has got back in contact with me a couple of times. She has been urging me to join their new organisation and attend its first conference in April next year. I live in the UK so I won't be going but if you are interested in this new group I have posted a link below. http://www.empathictherapy.org/ I also got permission from SexSmartFilms for Breggin to use the Dr Stuart Shipko film on his new site and so it looks like we might be getting some more exposure after all. I do hope Breggin writes a book on it or campaigns really hard about it in the media. Does anyone mind if I send some Breggin some of the worst cases of PSSD I have come across on our site which I saved in my PSSD folder? All kept anonymous of course - no names mentioned. If I don't hear anything against this over the next week I will assume I have permission. One leading Psychiatrist I posted the Staurt Shipko video to was Professor Giovanni A. Fava, an Italian psychiatrist who also holds a professorship post at both an American university and an Italian one. He warned the American Psychiatric Association (APA) many years ago that antidepressants, including the old generation ones, were causing chronic depression in 85% of users, and after about 4 years, 1 in 4 of these people were going bipolar, usually in the rapid cycling (swithching) form. The APA told him to shut up, no one's interested. If they had listened to him and had done more research as he had recommended most of us here today problably wouldn't have PSSD as they would have discovered how completely useless these drugs were for treating depression. In fact, they make things a whole lot worse for most people as Dr Giovanni A. Father's research had shown. Kaivey
