Update: After collapse things seems going a little better. I think the single

dose started a process that finished some days ago leaving me numb. I feel

disconnected from genitals, there are difficulties in erections but it can be

possible and strong, orgasm is good, libido is coming back slowly. I'll give it

more time before trying accupunture.

I need some full recovery story if someone know! :/

I took it for just a week and i noticed a difference in my libido almost right

away, no interest or sexual drive whatsoever.

Goodmorning!

I find it difficult to believe that one pill would cause that....perhaps you need to discuss this with the prescribing doctor. I was on 10mg.daily of Prozac for about three weeks before I suddenly realized that the "Good looking chicks" at the gym, were no longer appealing. Then I realized that I no longer was interested in cuddling hugging or touching my wife and no interest in foreplay/sex, (which she appreciated....she's been on Zoloft for a number of years....totally killed her libido). So, I weaned myself off the Zoloft and am almost back to normal.

My wife is tapering herself off the Zoloft....we'll see how that goes. I've noticed after one week, she slightly back to her former "Bitchy" finding fault with everything I do, self........LOL.

Update: I tried, I can have sex but no libido at all. Sex is now a useless

experience.

Some benzos but i never had sexual problems before that pill.

Update: Erections are easier but i can't be arousal from visual stimuli. Orgasm

today seems a little worse than before. Still have this sensation of

disconnection by genitals and an awful brain fog, this make me feel damaged.

Heroin is more healthier than this drug, i am sure.

Now facility to get erections seems inversely proportionately to the pleasure of

the orgasm. WTF?!?!?!?! This is just crazy.

I was on Zoloft for less than a week when i noticed my loss of libido and that

It is posts like this that makes me think that Dr Stuart Shopko is correct and

that PSSD is a problem on an enormous scale, as he say's. I had PSSD for 9 years

before I discovered about this condition and found this site. I was so depressed

when I found out because I theought I had a stress disorder, like say's,

and that I would soon recover when I felt better.

Three doctors dismised my condition and I never told anyone else. When I was

drunk I attempted to tell some friends about my low sex drive one night but my

girlfiend stopped me. When we got home she gave me a right telling off. I guess

she wanted everyone to think she had a healthy and top guy because status is so

important to eveyone.

I think people just don't tell anyone because it is so humilating to say that

you are like this. It might also be possible that there are lots of mild cases

of PSSD and these people recover from after a few months. Anyhow, I expect that

when this story gets out this site will be obliterated with an enormous amount

of new members.

By the way, a warning about Trazodone, it is the earlier version of Nefazodone

which is the one that destroyed my sex drive.

Yes, the same thing happened to me one year ago. I was on Zoloft for about a

week and bang, all drive was gone.

The problem can be stopping treatment in a early stadium. I have seen many

people with full PSSD after a few days of SSRI (from 3 days to 2 weeks)-

Hmmm, not so sure. I used meds two times for relatively short periods (less then half a year) and stopped cold turkey on both occasions. The second time I developed pssd. Luckily taking amino acids seem to work and I am getting all my feeling back. I consider myself cured. But it could also be working because a year and a half have passed. People who take amino

acids/protein powders, etc., should get their serum creatinine

levels checked first.  Thanks to Naprosyn, I'm in early Stage 3

kidney failure, so I can't overload myself with protein or amino

acids.

I have no history of depression, anxiety or psichiatric issues. I took zoloft

for love matters so i can assure i am not bipolar.
