Guest guest
Ahh, Mel that is a real shit. I dont know! Its just not fair. I am like you - have hardly eaten in ages and still the scales havent moved. I was 74.1 this morning that is 2.5 kg down but it should be 22.5 with the little I eat at present - must be the Friday night boozing. I do think that the walking was the secret tho, just wish it wasnt so dark when I leave work or I would be still doing that. And you dont have to stay fat, if I can do it anyone can. Guest guest
Mel - For one thing, you certainly aren't fat so get that out of your head at once!!!! How frustrating but you hardly had any nutrition at all and that is why you lost the weight but that wasn't sustainable so as soon you ate even a little your body responded and said to herself " oh good, some food, I have better hang on to it in case she doesn't give me any more " !!!! Dont set yourself goals as that puts too much pressure on you - just try and eat healthy foods and avoid the vino and it will slowly come off again. Did someone say that WLS was the easy way out? Guest guest
Hi Mel, I do not write often but now I shall. One day at the time my dearie that is all we can possibly do. Mel I’m not here to lecture by no means , have you tried cutting out the carbs after breakfast – I find for me that is what I do is no carbs after breakfast and yes I have my pig out days of chips, chocolate . , cheese cake etc. I can honestly tell you that once a week I take myself to a place at Miranda/ Caringbah where it is a speciality cake shop called “ New York Cakes” I sit myself down and order a full cream hot chocolate and a baked cheese cake. I sit and savour every bite full and every mouth full on my own . I do not want company with me that way I can enjoy the pleasure of what I’m savouring and taste every mouth full of it. If I was with company I would have to talk and be social and not totally appreciate the food that I was eating. Mel, have you maybe considered to get your self a personal trainer? I walk with just about daily so in a sense we are committed to walk with each other for at least an hour or so. A personal trainer maybe a good idea to get you back on track. Mel, all I can say sweetie, is one day at a time. Luv Mimi From: SydBand [mailto:SydBand ] On Behalf Of Mel Sent: Monday, 14 April 2008 12:42 PM To: SydBand Subject: Bugger...
