Guest guest
No, you are not alone. I also noticed that I had lost pain sensation in my testicles. Not that I would ever want pain there, but I did notice it. I think it has mostly reversed at this point. Vornan > > > > > > my bals are not so sensitive anymore. Guest guest
I have had some recovery. I can get an erection and have a pleasurable orgasm (maybe 50% intensity of what it was before SSRIs). But my libido did not come back. Libido seems to be the most difficult thing to restore for most people... V > > > > > > > > > > my bals are not so sensitive anymore. Guest guest
It took a few years to get the partial recovery. But I was on celexa for two years. Guest guest
Oh ok. Sounds encouraging. I hope you continue to see improvements. By the way, has the numbness got better at all? Guest guest
Perhaps, as a late comer to this site I may have missed something. Did Zoloft cause this problem, originally? - Spring,Texas Subject: Re: does anyone recognize thisTo: SSRIsex Date: Monday, October 11, 2010, 10:17 PM I have had some recovery. Guest guest
Hi , Most people do not get PSSD. Since you are still taking an ssri (I think you said you were) then you simply need to taper off under medical supervision. There is no reason to think you are going to have any problems - the large majority of people who stop taking SSRI's get their sexuality back. It is very common and well-known to lose your sexuality while you are still on these drugs. That's not PSSD. Just stop, carefully, and you will almost certainly be fine. Then you can be grateful and warn people about this. ziggy> > > > > > >> > > > > > > my bals are not so sensitive anymore. Guest guest
I wonder what the tapering does, as compared to a person who does not taper but immediately stops instead. Guest guest
This is how I began to realize something was wrong while I had been on several different SSRIs. The side effects are worse than the diseases they are meant to cure. F. Bacon Re: does anyone recognize this Hi , Most people do not get PSSD. Guest guest
Thanks. I never had complete numbness as a symptom. Decreased sensation for sure, and that has improved somewhat, but not totally back to normal. V > > > > > > > > > > > > > > my bals are not so sensitive anymore.
