Guest guest
Wow thanks for the info! Looks like Im not doing myself any favours at all sticking to optifast by having a lite dinner at night. boo hoo I hate optiyuck! Back on track for me big time... Im starting water aerobics tonight coz its just too cold to walk by the time I get home. I thought a couple of sessions of that will help my weight loss before the op too. 6 weeks optiyuck is just so much! I have 29 more sleeps to go for my op so need to get my head into gear. I know how big this is and I gotta keep focused. It really is a psychological roller coaster ride for anyone. I found the first couple of days I was teary. Then the next few I did ok. Then I sabotaged myself. Then I spent the next few days with "lite dinners" and thinking I was still doing ok. I have to be realistic with myself! wow that was a good vent! Thanks XOXOXOX Subject: Re: OptiyuckTo: SydBand Date: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 3:24 AM i went to my new dietitian yesterday ( i like her alot ) and she explained optiyuk REALLY well - i wish i could share it here cos it was the simplest yet most informative way ive ever heard it explained.basically if any otehr food other than certain plain veges the optifats stops working. if a peice of fruit etc is eaten the way op[tisfast works goes right down ebcause the body burns up the quick energy of fruit first so stops eating our fat...etc etc anyway im saying this more for myself... i guess as im still dreading my start of it in a few days.anywa tips with handling it pychologically esp for those who ahve depression would be apprrecaited.xx>> Hi Everyone> > I have a question > If I only have one or two shakes a day is this worse off for me compared to if I had three?> I have found the optiyuck has reduced my appetite and Im only feeling like one or two and a piece of fruit.> > Or becuase of what is in it should I be aiming for the three?> > Kylie>
