Guest guest Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 I've read and heard some conflicting info concerning taking cod liver oil, and would like to hear how the members of this group weigh in on the following: - Adult dosage of cod liver oil: I've hear 1 tsp, 2tsp, and 1 tsp for every 50 lbs of weight. What do you do? I'm currently taking 1 tsp - afraid to overdose on vitamin D -- which brings me to another question... - Is it important to have your vitamin D levels checked if you are taking CLO - to make sure you don't overdose? And finally: - Is it important to take vitamin E/mixed tocopherols if you are taking CLO? Suppose you are also taking high vitamin butter oil...would that eliminate the need for a vitamin E supplement? Thanks for any and all responses.
