Suze --

Some email softwares have option about whether you want to *move* the message to

the

designated folder, or *copy* it.

Check whether your email software has that option, and which selection you made.

Thanks Pratick, but it's not set up to " copy " just to " move " the emails. It

just started happening out of the blue a week or two ago. Oh well, I think I

will re-setup these folders and see if that works.

I had the same thing happen to me a while back and it ended up being related

to the order in which my email rules were operating. Because I download

several different email accounts all directly into MS Outlook I have found

that on some of the mail rules I have to specify that it " should take no

more actions after following x step " . That and ensuring that the rules are

applied in the proper order stopped my " move " command from actually leaving

two copies.

Ron, thanks for your response. Do you think the problem developed because

you were downloading mail from more than one email account? I'm only

downloading from ONE email account into all my . And again, the

strange thing is that it only happens in my NT-related groups but not my

other . So weird...
