Guest guest
Ive never heard of feverfew at homeopathy dosage. Did a search on the net and found nothing. But ive heard it does something to serotonin so could in a sense be an antidote to ssris. Guest guest
One is completely healed within 4 weeks. The first successes came after the third week. Background: I accepted that our receptors are sensitive and that too much serotonin is present. But it is exactly the opposite! Hömephathy works by a given substance that produces in a healthy person, the illness of the patient. In the humiliatingly low dose acts as potenziator. Feverfew is usually used to reduce serotonin in headache. Donations will go to my bank account ;D. .. fun aside. I'm glad if this group can finally be resolved. Guest guest
In the extract below scientists discover a surprising result from homeopathic dilutions. There's a link to the complete article below as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dilution theory may answer homeopathy riddle Geckeler said: "When he diluted the solution, the size of the fullerene particles increased. It was completely counter–intuitive." Further experiments showed that the phenomenon was no fluke. The same effect was seen with a sugar–like molecule called cyclodextrin, the organic molecule guanosine monophosphate, DNA, and sodium chloride – common table salt. Dilution made the molecules cluster into aggregates five to 10 times bigger than those in the original solutions. Growth depended on the concentration to start with. "The history of the solution is important," said Geckeler. "The more dilute it starts, the larger the aggregates." The effect was only seen in "polar" solvents, such as water. Molecules dissolved in a polar solution have a pronounced positive charge at one end and a negative one at the other. This may be responsible for the clustering. In homeopathy, diluting a remedy may increase the size of particles until they become biologically active. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/dilution-theory-may-answer-homeopathy-riddle-616300.html Kaivey > >> > >> > >> > > Powerd by http://de.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex_German> > >> > > ------------------------------------------> > > 3-4 Weeks> > >> > > 3 Pills a Day> > >> > > Feverfew in Homeopathy Dosage ( D4 )> > >> > > -------------------------------------------> > >> > > Have Fun for the Rest of your Live !> > >> > > ps: this is no joke.> > >> > >> > >> >>
Guest guest
This is a pet peeve of mine. Feverfew may have legitimate medicinal effects -- I have no opinion, one way or the other. It may be helpful against PSSD. But " at homeopathy dosage " means that the feverfew has been so diluted that there are _no feverfew molecules_ in the mixture you're taking. So you're not dealing with feverfew (in the herbal or medicinal sense), you're dealing with the " vibrational energy " of feverfew (in the homeopathic sense). > > > > > > > Powerd by http://de.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex_German > > > > ------------------------------------------ > > 3-4 Weeks > > > > 3 Pills a Day > > > > Feverfew in Homeopathy Dosage ( D4 ) > > > > ------------------------------------------- > > > > Have Fun for the Rest of your Live ! > > > > ps: this is no joke. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Since, understandably, the thread about feverview has raised a lot of questions, I've decided to translate the relevant posts by the person who has recovered for you guys. I have taken the liberty to streamline and re-arrange the posts somewhat for the sake of readability. Comments in brackets are mine. ______________________________________________________________________ Hi guys, I contracted PSSD by quitting Prozac cold turkey. I've been taking feverfew for four weeks now. That stuff is the bomb! Last week, all I could think of was sex. My sexual phantasies were running so wild I had a hard time falling asleep. This is unreal! I'm more than happy with my libido. Really, it couldn't be better. Thanks a lot for the advice, north [member who recommended feverfew]. If things stay the way they are, I'm healed. By the way, north, I took the D4 tables [homeopathic version]. Funnily enough, they work. [Matthias had been told by north that the homeopathic version most likely wouldn't work and he might want to order a phytotherapeutic version in that case. This is absolutely great news, as it indicates that no placebo effect was in play.] Also, I've noticed that the effect increases with higher potencies. I have also bought pure feverwiew [non-homeopathic], but I haven't used it because the homeopathic version has done more than enough for me. During the first week, I didn't notice anything. In the second week, my erection got stronger and stronger. The next week, my libido improved. Week four was amazing – I was horny all the time. I've been taking three tablets a day – morning, noon, evening. I'm going out tonight. Damn, I'm horny. I do believe that living healthfully is important, by the way. I drank way too much one evening and wasn't feeling that great the next day sexually. To sum it up: Erections: +200% Phantasies: +600% Orgasms: +300% Libido: +300% I ordered the tablets from the Bad pharmacy. It's the „Mutterkraut Kapseln " from Aalborg Pharma GmbH [http://shop.apotal.de/produkte/suche.html]. I'm really hoping it works for you as well. I should. My sex drive is absolutely great now. Before, I had barely any libido at all. Drinking coffee helped a little. Again, thank you very much, north! Best Matthias ______________________________________________________________________ As for ordering the feverfew. The Bad Apotheke ships internationally. If you would like to order from them, send them an email: info@.... If you prefer to order elsewhere: The product that has worked so well is feverfew, homeopathic potency D4. One last note: Vornan has uploaded a paper that argues that homeopathy might work via gene expression. This is highly interesting given that Matthias appears to have recovered using a homeopathic substance. All the CREDIT for this goes to NORTH4INSTA who discovered feverfew and MATTHI4125, who was willing to act as the guinea pig. I hope you find this post helpful. Let's hope this is really it. :-) Best teephos
Guest guest
unsure of exact details here. but this is how NAET works and also making a remedy , http://allergyantidotes.com/ etc. it involves nullifying the effects of the drugs. so if you persue the previous, you'll need your spit, and or the meds to work. Guest guest
This another theory being hyped isn't it? I've read the studies too. I know it lowers serotonin. Guest guest
Many thanks for the translation, teephos. I found it here too: http://www.aposparer.de/wisl_s-cms/en/737/Homoeopathie_Biochemie/79526/MUTTERKRAUT_Kapseln.html Do they say in the German SSRI group what is the dose per capsule in mg ? I understand feverfew reduces serotonin which therefore would cause an increase in dopamine. When serotonin goes up (like in SSRIs), dopamine goes down. When serotonin goes down (like in feverfew), dopamine should go up. >> Since, understandably, the thread about feverview has raised a lot of questions, I've decided to translate the relevant posts by the person who has recovered for you guys. Guest guest
@Survivor: I totally understand where you're coming from. I share your point of view for the most part. It sounds too good to be true. And I really wish the title had been worded a little less enthusiastically by the thread starter. At this point, we just don't know. That said, the story seems absolutely credible to me. Of course, this is just anecdotal " evidence " , and even if it works for someone, it might not for all. It might, though. One last thing: The basis of the claim is the personal experience of a member, not a theory. Guest guest
I don't think this is something that the group should doubt and let go. Might be a good idea to contact homeo/naturopaths here in the US to see what their thoughts are. There's one in my area that has tried to help me in the past that I'm going to contact. Others should do the same. But I'm not expecting it. Guest guest
I know at Whole Foods you can buy Feverfew tincture..essentially Feverfew in liquid form with a dropper. That would be the easiest way to make your own formulation. However homeopathic dosages are so minute that you would probably take too much. Keep in mind homeopathic Feverfew is completely different from a normal dose of it. Guest guest
Honestly, I'm always blown away by the naysayers in this group. As soon as something positive comes up, everybody's gotta tear it down. It's unbelievable. You're never going to heal yourself people if you don't believe that anything - ever - will actually work. You've gotta go out and try it! I would think that everyone on this site would be running out to Whole Foods, etc. right now to go buy this stuff. Or at least try to clarify with the person who posted the original message what a homeopathic dosage is. Is anyone planning on trying this? I feel like there's a lot of talk on this site but not a lot of action. I'm trying everything... I'm not just waiting around. I'm taking a few different things right now so I won't immediately be able to try feverfew, but if I wasn't, I would definitely be taking it asap. I hope somebody gets off their ass and gives this a try - and not one of these postings I see all too frequently where someone tries something for one day and says they felt nothing so they stopped. Or they had a headache or their urine smelled funny or something ridiculous like that. Things fluctuate all the time for many of us - you've gotta stick with something for at least a month or more. If anyone does try feverfew, I truly hope they find the cure we're all looking for! -M > > > > > > > > Powerd by http://de.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex_German > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------ > > > > 3-4 Weeks > > > > > > > > 3 Pills a Day > > > > > > > > Feverfew in Homeopathy Dosage ( D4 ) > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------- > > > > > > > > > > > > Have Fun for the Rest of your Live ! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ps: this is no joke. > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
D4 is very safe to try without consulting a medical professional. Because almost no molecules of the original herbal tea remain in the final dilution. So it is actually mainly water with alcohol or a sugar pill that you swallow. But according to homeopathic theory a special effectiveness is given to the dilution by that diluting procedure. Anyway, this can be a cheap experiment for PSSD patients, because you don't have to discuss this with your doctor. > > ok found out....D4 is 1: 10,000 > i.e. one part stock to 10,000 parts finished products. Guest guest
Id like to give this a try but I like to take medicine that I understand and all the homeopathy stuff confuses the hell out of me.For example the potency the german guys used was D4 which i gather is 1 to 10,000 or something. The main homeopathic feverfew available in the UK is Weleda 6x which is like 1 to 60. The D4 is a very very very very very diluted form-practically water-but homeopaths make out the more diluted something is the more powerful it is!!!! Still as remedies go it is pretty cheap and probably harmless. So in the interests of research Im prepared to give the Weleda brand a go for a month or so. If the German site was more accessible Id consider importing it. But the site is totally in German and I dont like giving credit card details over the phone. And of course the sceptic in me does note that homeopathy has a reputation for offering " miracle cures " and it does occur to me that a company would make a lot of money from claiming to have a cure for post ssri dysfunction, making up a fake profile on here with a fake testimony, knowing that hundreds of guys on here will then pay $20 for it. Honestly, I'm always blown away by the naysayers in this group. As soon as something positive comes up, everybody's gotta tear it down. It's unbelievable. Guest guest
Most of the people here complain, as opposed to learning to live with the condition while at the same time aggressively look for solutions. I want to try it but am having trouble ordering it, seeing how it's only available on that one site. The Feverfew you get at Whole Foods probably won't work because it is not a homeopathic preparation. It needs to be diluted, etc. I think it would help greatly if we contacted homeopaths here in the states to get their thoughts.
