Guest guest
My son doesn't crave it necessarily but takes the capsule in his mouth and chews it like gum. I finally tried this after unsuccessfully trying to hide it in all sorts of stuff. he did not like it mixed with anything but when I made it sound fun and he got to pretend it was gum, he was thrilled. now it is just routine. Guest guest
Yes!!! My son has been caught on several occasions trying to sneak up onto the counter to get the bottle out from cabinet (we had to move the bottle to a more secure place). He chews on the capsules like its gum. I thought it had something to do with DSI, he also loves hotsauce and lemon juice. Does anyone have a wierdo kid like mine who like them so much, you have to hide them? will climb up onto the counter and get the bottle out of the cabinet to snack on them as if they were popcorn or something!!! > > - >
Guest guest
Yes, both my kids think they are candy and I have to keep the bottle on top of the refrigerator or else they would probably try to eat the whole bottle. I give my daughter (apraxic) 2 per day and my son ( " normal " developing) 1 per day and he always cries because he wants 2 also. I thought I was the only one with strange kids!! Guest guest
Oh, Hannah LOVES them. It's the first thing she goes after in the morning. If I didn't hide the box from her she'd OD for sure! :-D LouAnne > I've seen so many posts asking how to get the fish oils down. Guest guest
All of my kids like them, and had a bad reaction to them. I won't let her take them. just pops them in her mouth and chews them. She even asks for it. > I've seen so many posts asking how to get the fish oils down. Guest guest
Shouldn't a one-month-old baby have gained a meaningful amount of weight since birth? -

Guest guest
What do you mean by meaningful? Most babies will lose up to 1lb within the first week of life and then start to gain back. Most newborns double their birth weight by 6-9 months. I believe 1 year is the age when you would worry if they have not doubled their birth weight. My children have always been chunky and doubled their birth weights by 3 months . Just curious... Guest guest
Newborns during the first month usually have a bm with every feeding or even more. I think the concern usually is after the intial weight loss has the weight gain been consistent? Weight gain is very different in formula fed vs. breastfed babies. Also if there is a slow weight gain, many times there are other signs such as allergies, low milk supply, colic, premature delivery, c-section/drugged delivery, etc. RE: Just curious... - >What do you mean by meaningful?
