I have no idea, but either way, it's beyond question that the yolks suffer tremendous nutritional degradation from cooking, so it's probably a good idea to keep scrambled eggs (and omelettes and so on) to a minimum even if cholesterol oxidation isn't an issue. -

I think there are a lot of things we may never know! I doubt a scramble every week or so is going to shorten anyone's life by too much. Besides, if Sally and Martha () like scrambled eggs, that's good enough for me. :-D FWIW, Tom -- " Good company and good discourse are the very sinews of virtue. You could always eat sloppy scrambled eggs! This was the norm in our house - scrambled but left very soft. Helen -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. I throw in whatever veggies I have in the crisper to get the veggie intake up, too. I usually have spinach and onion on hand, but the rest is a variety of whatever is on hand: broccoli, bell peppers, leeks, etc. > > My question is: How important is it to calculate the nutrition information for my varied eggs on Fitday.com? I have a basic egg recipe calculated on there that I use to come up with an idea of my protein/fat/carbohydrate intake, but I just don't have the time to input every variation of my scrambled eggs. Hi AnnMarie. Once you " get the feel " for how much of each food group you need to eat daily to obtain your ratios, you don't have to calculate them exactly every day. You can check every month at first, and after awhile check them once every 6 months. When you get the feel for it most people find they are " right on " when they check them. I have. You don't need to be exact or perfect, some variations are okay. Bee
