I tell you, I really feel like I am loosing this battle sometimes. Mel Hey Mel, Don't feel bad. Mine hasn't budged either. Even with the bloody sweats I'm getting with the humidity and the effexor, I reckon I must be losing a kilo a day, and stink to high heaven to boot, even after 2 + showers and lots of Rexona. Not a good look in my new job- I won't be able to blame the rain forever, and it's not like I'm doing an awful lot of running, more walking about. And I have to drink loads of water just to replace. So - a sideline- tell me effexor people who were so great to me before- the sweats- did you all get so soaked in sweat (especially from your head), that it looked like you'd just washed your hair or come from the pool? I can feel it dripping off the hair at my neck, especially by 9 up to about 2. It is really embarrassing- I suspect they think I'm having a hot flush (I'm 38, so it's a tad early for that), but it drips off me so much, drops fall onto my keyboard and I've had to put a towel in the ladies and sneak in to mop it up,as well as a hanky in my pocket just for sweat. Before I leave home, to protect my uniform shirt (blue chambray, shows every drop), I go around with a towel around my neck and it gets soaked! This stuff's done my mood wonders, but the constant sweat is not a good thing to add to your rep at an all-boys private school....sheesh...
