Guest guest Posted January 4, 2005 Report Share Posted January 4, 2005 Hi. I'm new around here. I tried making some saurkraut according to the NT recipe, but it looks and smells pretty funny. I didn't have any whey so I just used more salt. It smells rather gross and has black stuff growing on the top. Did I do something wrong?
