Guest guest
Some of the basic bread recipes i use for ovrenight breads are classic bread recipes. like honey wheat- which i sometimes make with spelt- although i find that it eats the honey so i add more to get more of a honey flavor. i use raw honey and yogurt or sour cream sometimes in stead of milk. sometimes i just use water. honey wheat 1 1/4 cups milk 3 tablsppons unsalted butter 2 tablespoons honey 1 teaspoon yeast 3 cups flour 3/4 teaspoon salt pumpkin bread- this is a bread not a cake 2 eggs 1/2 cup liquid ( i use yogurt or sour cream) 3 tbsp butter 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar 1 cup pumpkin 1 1/2 teapoon salt 3 tbsp sugar ( i use raw honey) 3 1/3 cups flour 2 tsps yeast optional dash of pumpkin pie spice i usually let it sit all day but wondered about letting it sit longer. let me know what you think about leaving a dough recipe like this to rise over night. Any one suggest a number of hours that it would be beneficial and the flour would be broken down? thanks gwen
