Most sightings are at inexpensive Chinese all-you-can-eat banquet places (often the healthiest option when traipsing through the hinterlands and in need of a hot something - at least they have greens). They are 2-3 " across, and are what happens when you deep-fry dried (powdered) shrimp cake, which is first articifically colored in pastel shades.
