Where exactly do you stay in Nagpur? Ravin '82 (Jabalpur)
Guest guest
Dear TS I have been reading all these mails to and fro about success and money and the trappings of the same-without meaning to sound like a saint(in fact my friends would vouch that I am very far from that)-yes there are lots of very nice things money can buy-and it brings you a lot of happiness-but what you really want is a fantastic balance of everything-money,job satisfaction,family.health,hobbies,-and then the time to savour and relish it all-what we lose sight of in our pursuit of prosperity is the lack of time it leaves us to enjoy the fruits. We run around like headless chickens-on the way our parents grow old, children grow into young adults and we enter midlife without even realising when it all happened. Now when I pray to God I very often find myself asking for a balance of santosh(cant find an equivalent word in the English language)and aspiration!! What has impressed me is your ability to quote poetry and very nice one too-if a man can have the time, ability and sensitivity to appreciate art he is truly a rich and gifted person. 82 > >Reply-To: mgims >To: mgims >Subject: Re: to ravin >Date: Sat, 4 Nov 2006 06:03:41 +0000 (GMT) > >Ravin > > after what one hears about the huge places in saudi, the multi storied > malls in us ,the big furniture stores in pune , > > hamara nagpur is a small town. > > i have a lab in sadar, > my wife manages an( under - utilised) nursing home on kamptee road > and i live in the same old house i was born in 48 years ago > situated in Guru Nanak Colony (it is in the northen part of the town, > very close to the place from where you enter into nagpur from jabalpur) > > incidently which is your favorite mithai? > > anothe line from the best urdu poet of modern times Bashir Badr of >bhopal > > `kabhi yun bhi aa meri aankh me > ke meri nazar ko khabar na ho > > mujhe ek raat navaz de, > magar us raat ki sahar na ho > > Tarvinder 76 > > N Das wrote: > Dear Tarvinder, > >That was a very nice way of putting it. > > " as Gurdas mann has to say : >umr jalwon me basar ho ye jaroori to nahi, >har shabe gam ke sahar ho ye jaroori to nahi, >sab ki nazroon me ho saki ,ye jaroori hai, >sab pe saki ki nazar ho ye jaroori to nahi " > >Nagpur is not a small town, in fact I've been impressed by the way it has >grown. > >Where exactly do you stay in Nagpur? > >Ravin '82 (Jabalpur) > >
