Okay...2years ago I was diagnosed with Graves Autoimmune Thyroiditis

after being HYPOTHYROID for 10yrs. (Switched almost overnight)

Had RAI to get rid of my thyroid and was put on Levothroid after that.

Just when I got to feeling good again and levels normal, I lost my

insurance coverage.

Well, I know its stupid, but without money/insurance...I have NOT

been on thyroid meds AT ALL in over a year. (YIKES!!!)

JUST found an Awesome doc in Austin who is letting me use Healthcheck

for my labs and gives a 25% discount to self-pay. So, I can actually

AFFORD to go to the doctor.

I just got my labs back in...I understand all the Thyroid Pannel test

results, becuase I have had the disease for so long.

Free T4: 0.4 normal(0.8-1.8)

Free T3: 1.0 normal(2.3-4.2)

TSH: 190.237 normal(0.35-5.5)

But I had an antibodies test done, since I am almost sure that

atleast part of my thyroid has grown back...needed to test for the

autoimmune disease as well.

I do NOT understand the test results. They are in the normal range,

but isnt having ANY antithyroid antibodies present NOT GOOD??

Thyroglobulin Antibodies: less than 20 normal(less than 40)

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies: 8.22 normal(less than 35)

What should this mean to me??

THANKS SO MUCH!!
