Thyroid meds before blood drawn...

Jan,

That is interesting ...I did not know that you shouldn't take your

thyroid meds before having blood drawn? I have been taking mine

before having blood drawn all these years. Should I continue to do

take them before tests or start waiting until after blood is taken?

Would that not mess things up now that I have been doing it the same

way all these years. I go for another blood test in a couple of

weeks to check another increase in my Levoxyl. The last increase I

had didn't effect my blood levels at all. I am taking 2 Levoxyl .50

(no dye because I am allergic to the dyes). I hope the 50's do the

trick because it makes it easy with no cutting and splitting. I

found it interesting that Courtenay said she had brain fog with

Levoxyl. I have had alot of brain fog over the years and now wonder

if it is from the Levoxyl. I tried Armour years ago but it gave me

the palps and felt anxious. But I think the dr. then started me on

too high a dose right off. Still contemplating especially on weather

to give Armour another try if the Levoxyl doesn't raise my blood

levels this time. Also my roseaca has gotten much better getting off

the dyes in the Levoxyl. Sorry for going on and on. It is just so

much trial and error as everyone well knows...but know I will get

there sooner or later. I have come a long way already.

Has anyone seen Dr.
