Hi all,

I'm a new member - looking forward to hearing what the group has to

say!

My question's about salt. I'm currently cooking exclusively with

Celtic sea salt, which I LOVE - but I've started hearing about

Himalayan Crystal Salt, and I'm interested in it.

Has anyone out there had experience with it? How's it compare to

Celtic? I know a lot of raw food people like it...

Also - the Himalayan's touting something called " sole, " which is a

highly saturated solution made from Himalayan Crystal Salt - supposed

to be loaded with minerals. You're supposed to take a small amount

daily - anyone tried that? If so, with what results?

Interested in hearing anyone's experiences out there!

Cheers,

> Hi , Welcome to the group! I use both Celtic Sea Salt and the

Himalayan Crystal Salt you mention. I like them both but haven't yet used

the Himalayan Crystal Salt enough to give a very thorough evaluation. I will

say the HCS is saltier and is a lot harder too. It is very pretty and the

packaging of the product I bought was incredibly beautiful and somewhat

justified the extra cost. It would make a lovely gift. I bought mine at

Start fairly low. Once you start taking good salt like this, all sorts of

unwelcome passengers are liable to exit your body, possibly through your skin.

You may find a halo of spots around your head. Build up to that dose. Do your

instructions say to use hot or cold water? I tried hot water for a while - wow,

it sent me to the loo like a dose of - um - salts. I don't know about salt

being banned for cancer - are you sure that is not just table salt, sodium

chloride from which all the minerals have been

stripped? (That should be banned to everybody!) I'm not suggesting this is the

case, I just guess it's worth finding out for sure, as these mineral rich salts

like Celtic etc. are just so good. For adding to water generally, use a pinch

per pint. (I use more)

To learn more about taking salt, look for sites like Lymephotos (Salt and C

protocol), water cure, Dr Batmangheldi (?sp) Your Body's many cries for water,

etc.

Minerals are required to heal. There are many salts that are useful.

Table salt is adulterated with heat, and aluminum. Use sea salt.

It is my opinion that you need to see your paper PH at 6.5 or better.

test in the morning before food in the mouth, or urine with ph paper

available at a health food store. Too high is bad, as well.

Body wants 7.365 in the blood.

The most alkaline

natural plant I have seen is at vietnamese stores, it is a type of bok

choy. (Smaller leaves) It will when eaten it will move your PH. No

coffee, or such drinks, or you're wasting your money.

It is useful to sit in a bath with as much 3% hydrogen peroxide as you

can afford.

Get a homeopathic remedy for msg and aspartame. Everyone here is toxic from

thes bug spray products used as sweeteners.

I believe cancer cannot exist in an alkaline body.

Read the labels and no " natural flavors " BHT, BHA, etc or aspartame.

It is in the blue, pink, and yellow packets in the restaraunt. These

are killers. Put it near ants and watch the results.
