Part of the rebuttal/editorial quoted by Louise reads:

>longer. So, the SBO's are actually CREATED during this

I'm glad this was brought up. I had forgotten that PD's microbes

were grown on a food substrate consisting of juices, greens, seeds,

and veggies. The PD isn't just a concentrated bunch of probiotic

microbes. Probiotics have been found to have a much better rate

of survival in the digestive tract when consumed along with the

substrate on which they were grown.

I had taken PD for about 6 months, but then I ended up switching

to real milk kefir, kimchi, a water-based consortia, and other

fermented foods over time, not as a conscious decision though.

Real milk kefir alone has 2 or 3 times as many types of microbes

compared to PD.

You hit the nail on the head, Pratick. By 'real milk kefir' I am

referring to milk kefir, raw or otherwise, made with real kefir grains,

not fake kefir from the commercialized starters cobbled together in a

factory somewhere.
