Guest guest
I did not see this one coming. I had an appt with my GI dr today, well my Envoy is always parked in our garage so the weather outside doesn't effect me until I get to where I'm going. Well I opened my door to get out to go into the dr's office and BAM, I had such a hard time breathing, scared me so bad, I've never had an experience like that. Thank GOD I always have my rescue inhaler in my pocket I used it someone who was walking by saw what was going on got me inside in the ac and sat me down, I got upset, I think because of being scared, he asked which dr I was there to see I told him, and my dr came down and put his arms around me, took me to his office in the elevator and took me straight back to his office and gave me a nebulizer treatment, I had no idea his office kept those machines. I was so upset. I'd even printed off my peakflow readings for the past 30 days in case he needed it,, he said heat like this will set asthma off without warning. So I was able to breath again, we went on with my appt and he gave me one more treatment, walked me down to my car and saw me off. Now mind you he had patients in his office waiting on him. He told me to go home and stay in the AC. I kid you not, I've never been so scared of not being able to breath like that in all my life. My peak flow reading when I got home was 260. I called my Asthma specialist and he told me I had a good caring GI dr because it's exactly what he would have done, for me to relax, STAY INSIDE, and treat the asthma as if it were in the yellow zone for 3 days and he'd see me next week or sooner if needed. Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teddy Bear's Early Learning Program Established August of 1992 _______________________________________ No viruses found in this outgoing message Scanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5 http://www.iolo.com
