Guest guest
--- Christie, You mentioned that you often don't eat before your morning workouts. I have saved some info from an old magazine that I thought you might be interested in. Study - Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise - 2000. Subjects: Those who exercise while dieting (caloric restriction). Found: It was found that when the person eats his/her next meal, it will store as much of it as it possibly can as fat, so it becomes much more difficult to lose 'body fat'. The decreased caloric intake acts as an unrelenting stressor to which the body responds by shutting down metabolic processes and conserving energy. Conclusion: Never exercise on an empty stomach or on a caloric deficit, as it is very catabolic to the body and will decrease your loss of body fat. Maybe this is part of the reason you aren't losing more weight (body fat). Just in idea! jafa __________________________________________________
