I had that for years and it turned out to be a hairline crack in one of the

teeth.

It can also be from having big " pores " in the enamel, which are natural they

say but I think sometimes they are too " open " . There is toothpaste ... Sensodyne

....

that fills the pores with something or another so they don't react. It's amazing

to me how QUICKLY those nerves react to sugar though. I wonder WHY

they are so sensitive to it and not to, say, chili peppers.
