VCO - Antimicrobial and burned calories

I think this first one was covered somewhere in the midst of some other

long-ago thread, so forgive the repeat, please, I couldn't find it.

1) If VCO is so great at being antimicrobial, what's it doing to all my

purposely-ingested good buggies from kefir?

2) Lots of SF/ME literature makes references to VCO burning more calories

to digest than it contains as a food. But - how much? I mean, if 1

tbsp contains 108 calories, what's it burn? 109? 309? 4,782? I

searched around WAPF but couldn't find anything on that either. Just

curious about this one. Anyone found any specific references?

Thanks.
