So far, I¹ve had two people submit contributions. If you have any, now¹s the

time to submit them. I¹m just finishing the list up, and would greatly

appreciate more additions to it.

Thanks !

Refresh my memory, what abbreviations are you looking for?

Jami (I'll answer your reply on Monday)

Give us an example, Robbie, because my mind is a blank. Besides, I'm not very

creative unless it's already there for me to use.

It was suggested that ³wouldn¹t it be great if we had a list of all the

medical abbreviations and disease abbreviations we use².

That¹s what I¹ve been doing- compiling that list, but at present I¹m just

brain froze from pouring over my medical dictionaries looking for ones we

use. I have a fairly large list going, but I know I¹m missing stuff, so,

that¹s what I was asking for- people to send in which abbreviations they

use, or can think of.

Examples, like MSIR, AS, OTC, RA, and the like. Abbreviations of our

conditions, meds, and treatments.

Not really looking for chat abbreviations that are common, ie BRB, CYA, J/K

and such.

had the list to please send it to me and i'll post it to the group.

Robby,

I did not pay attention to your previous plea due to loads of homework,

sorry. I am taking a class at the present time in medical

transcriptionist and you will find attached a list of some of the

abbreviations that may come up. It is only a few, but I hope it helps. I

can't seem to think tonight.

Thanks Stella. That wasn¹t intended as a chide, everyone. : )

I just wanted to make sure that if you had intended on getting them in,

now¹s the time, since it¹s almost done and I didn¹t wanna do a bunch of

revisions, if possible.

Reading my initial post again, it does kind of look like a gripe, so for

that I apologise. It wasn¹t intended as such. : )
