, My husband loves granola. I was planning on trying kishk, but if he

doesn't

like it, would it work to soak rolled oats properly, then dry them in a

dehydrator?

Mrs. Siemens ************** I can't see why that *wouldn't* work.

Please

let me know how it goes, though, since my son loves granola, too. I made a

batch

of granola following a recipe that was posted here some time back, but it

involved

soaking oat *groats*, dehydrating them, and them putting them through a flaker

in

a grain mill before proceeding with the granola recipe. It came out delicious,

but was time consuming to make. I guess it could one of those things to make a

BIG batch of and store in the freezer, taking out smaller quantities as needed.

I like the cold cereal idea, since it is a fast breakfast and can be had with

lots

of raw milk! Vivian
