Pregnancy and Hunger

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and have just started to gain some weight. I eat

when I'm hungry, which doesn't seem to be much more than my normal

appetite. Other mothers I've talked to seemed to be ravenous when they

were pregnant and were starving all the time. Should I be concerned?

I've put on a few pounds (my pre-pregnancy weight was about 15-20 more

than I'd like) but now that my uterus is starting to push into my

stomach, I'm wondering if I'll be able to eat enough in the coming months.

A week and a half ago I decided to eliminate sweets from my diet, so I

eat mostly whole grains, meat, veggies, some fruit, and some chips and

junk.

I don't remember being " ravenous " when I was pregnant.

Be sure to include sources of natural, fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E,

and K) in your diet. Butter is a good one. Cod liver oil and/or

fish

oil are also good.

Have you ever read Dr. Price's book " Nutrition and Physical

Degeneration " ?
