Guest guest Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 Hello folks! I bet that I have a new one for you. (And I apologize ahead of time to anyone if this upsets their stomach!) I was just transferring my batch of Kimchi from the crock to glass jars when my 2 yo son who was watching and drinking a glass of water decided to spit an entire mouthful of water into the crock. At this point I had only managed to transfer about a quart of kimchi to a jar which left an almost full crock of it! My question: IS IT STILL OK TO USE????? Will the cultures and acidity of the kimchi kill any " bad " stuff he might have injected into the kimchi? I would hate to have to throw all that kimchi away!
