Guest guest
In August 1883, Krakatoa island between Java and Sumatra exploded causing a tsunami 131 feet high and killing over 36,000 people. 163 coastal villages were destroyed from the tidal wave. The blast was equivalent to 200 megatons of TNT. The explosions were heard over 4600 kilometers away and the air disturbances circled the earth 7 times. Three months later in New York, sunsets were so red from dust in the upper atmosphere that fire trucks were called out to quench nonexistant conflagrations. Krakatoa covered about 45 square kilometers before the eruption. Afterwards 75% of the landmass had disappeared. Darrell -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
