Guest guest
Is there a reason why you don't want to go to Club Longevity? It looks interesting since I am doc shopping again. steph
Guest guest
How much does Club Longevity cost? I heard that lin was doing boutique medicine, but was never really sure how that worked. We have a few members seeing either him or one of his PAs. Some of our Austin members see Manzanero. But he is taking no new thyroid patients. His PA, Debbi Winder gets all of the new ones. We have no reports on her, but she is booked up very far in advance. A few of the Austin folks make the trip to see Launius in ville north of DFW. Do keep us posted about your new doc. I have never heard of her before. And fill out a Database form on our site for your old one. . . . . Kari wrote: Hi,I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 8-9 years ago. I have been seeing an endo in Austin since who has kept me on Synthroid, She only checks my TSH levels... last labs TSH 8.4. I am on 250 mcg of Synthroid. I have requested Armour but she won't prescribe it. I have steadily gained 10 to 15 lbs per year on Synthroid although I never consume more than 1200 calories a day. @ years ago my endo told me to join weight watchers. I did and gained 30 lbs. on their program. They had ne consuming about 1400 calories a day.I called Dr. lin's office and they referred me to join Club Longevity.....I said I wanted someone to prescribe Armour.I checked the Armour website and found a Dr. Ehrin here in Austin/Round rock. I have an appointment with her on May 16,th.Are there any other members of this group in Austin and who do they see to get put on Armour.I would appreciate any information you have to offer.Flying to Lubbock is not an option at this time. Thanks,Kari Love cheap thrills? Guest guest
lin does all of the hormones. But at this point, you are more likely to see his NP or PA or maybe one of the other docs in the practice. Carolyn Stanford is said to be quite good. Club Longevity involves an annual retainer fee. Depending on what all is included, it may or may not be a good deal. Since you are doctor shopping, it might be worth your while to call and ask for details. We are talking anti-aging medicine. Good anti-aging medicine involves the balancing of thyroid, sex and adrenal hormones, using compounded bio-equivalent hormones. This is also a good thing for the thyroid patient, most especially the Hashi patient. sle816@... wrote: Is there a reason why you don't want to go to Club Longevity?
