I kefir milk just to have more grains for juice; my dog gets to eat the spent grains. I have been producing some fine beer and some pretty potent stuff with the older grains. But all the ideas you present demonstrate that I am only seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of possibilities. Porter is something my dh and I both love. Unfortunately, gluten whacks me out so I have to drink red wine instead (darn). It is nice to know there is another option - one with gluten-free homemade goodness. Here's to you Glutenator!
